Some folks who have been collecting arcade games for years have never had the chance to experience a single warehouse raid opportunity. I guess I am lucky as I just got cleared for the purchase of another small warehouse full of games. I have to be mum on the details right now as I don’t have the games in my possession yet, but I just HAD to tell SOMEBODY! This is my fifth raid opportunity. Looks like I’ll be getting 24 games – 15 fully working. No parts or random junk just yet, but that may be on the docket in the future. One cool thing I can let slip is the fact that there is a supposedly working Atari GOTCHA in the mix. GOTCHA was the second 2-player game ever made and was Atari’s first non-Pong sequel made in 1973. Wicked. Wish me luck, I should have the games in my posession next week.

So does that mean, even though you obviously can’t say what is there, that you have a good idea of all of the games that are there already?

I have an exact list of the 24 games and their condition, so there won’t be any surprises there. However, after this deal there is a chance that he will let me buyout all his old parts, and that could prove to be a treasure trove of unique items. I don’t have the games in my possession yet, so I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch, but I should be picking them up next week.
