It looks like I’m the last on the bandwagon on this one, but I finally added a repro Wargames Hollywood Sweepstakes topper to my Galaga:
I haven’t had time to do any restore to the rest of my galaga yet, but I will provide better pictures when I do. Right now, just having the Wargames topper makes my machine look 100 times better than any other I’ve seen in person. Even though it is a reproduction, having something this unique can really make your collection stand out. I loved Wargames, and having something that references both Galaga and Wargames is too sweet!
I had to put my arts and craft skills to work on this one and pull out the x-acto knife. The repro was basically a big sticker with a premask that you have to stick on foam core board and cut out. I used Rotheblog’s suggestion on mounting and it turned out great!
I think Bill may have one or two more left, so if you don’t have one already, be sure to get one. With niche reproduction runs such as this there may never be another time to get one. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

To be fair, I wrote up the article for Bill J., who was selling those Galaga toppers….But thanks for the mention, just thought that when someone contributes to my site, they should be rewarded with a nod….
