		<description>In my reading playfield wear is something that happens on every pinball machine. Around the 80s some manufactures and operatorsused mylar (essentially clear stickers ;) to cover and protect the playfields. Later someone (Bally?) started clearcoating their playfields to protect the paint.

Of course any such solution is temporary. ;-)</description>
