Galaga Multigame

This machine was built for one of my co-workers.  It was a sadly beat up Ms. Pacman cabinet.  I replaced the damaged bottom, trimmed the rough edges, bondoed, sanded and painted to make the cabinet look presentable.  Once the cabinet was structurally sound, I proceeded to paint it black and put a full set of Galaga artwork on it.  The machine will not only play Galaga, but it will play Pacman, Donkey Kong, Frogger, etc.  It currently plays about 200 different games.  They are selectable using a front-end menu created specifically for this type of application.

I delivered it to my co-worker’s house-warming party… It was quite a hit, especially with the kids…

Are you being purposefully mum on what you used? Is it a Mame machine running in the cab? Or is it a multigame board like a 48-1 or 60-1?

Art almost always uses MALA interface with a PC running MAME. We’ve done some 48-1’s in the past though.
